Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop exercise programs and routines designed to improve health, reduce stress and prevent injuries.
• Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care and exercise plans and provide nutritional counseling.
• Develop policies for food and nutritional programs to assist in health promotion.
• Counsel individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and exercise to improve their quality of life.

Education: a wellness specialist program administrator needs at least a bachelor’s degree. Government agencies tend to require a master’s degree or doctorate in a health-related field.To gain additional training and legitimacy in the field, a wellness specialist can earn voluntary credentials, such as the Certified Health Education Specialist designation from the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.

Demand for this profession: Employment for wellness specialist is projected to grow 13 percent from 2014 to 2024, faster than the average for all occupations.

Reflection: no i wouldn't want to become a wellness specialist. Have another career in mind.

Reflexologist

Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Examining the client’s feet and hands for possible ‘blockages’ and problem

·         Areas applying pressure with the thumb and fingers to the client’s feet and hands

·         keeping treatment records

·         Referring clients to their GP if necessary

• Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology or Complementary

Reflection:  no i wouldn’t want to become a reflexologist because it doesn’t catch my attention.

Registered Nurse

Duties & Responsibilities:

Demand for this profession: we need nurses because they help those people who are sick & they give use the medication that is needed.

Reflection: i would like to become a registered nurse because i want to help those sick people in need and also this job has always catches my attention.

        Athletic Trainer

An athletic trainer is a certified health care professional who practices in the field of sports medicine.

Duties and Responsibilities

o  Care for athletic injuries using physical therapy equipment, techniques, and medication.

o   Evaluate athletes' readiness to play, and provide participation clearances when necessary and warranted.

o  Apply protective or injury preventive devices such as tape, bandages, or braces to body parts such as ankles, fingers, or wrists.
