Class Evaluation

1.     The things i liked about this class was that i got to  learn new things , i got to type a little faster and i know to always do the rights things.

2.     The things i did not like about this class were that this class has no excitement in it; it seems so boring and sad.

3.     Some recommendations are to have the class a little more fun and to stop doing the typing tutor. 

4.     The highlight of this class was that i got to learn how to type a little faster and i learned more about computers

5.     I did my best in this class to get a good grade and pass my class. I always did the assignments that were assigned 

6.     I sometimes do read my journal to see the goals i have set up for myself and to remind myself every day that i can accomplish them 

7.     I am committed to being a CTR person because i want the best for myself. I want to accomplish the many goals i have set for myself and make my family proud. 

8.     What i learned from this class is to always choose the right and never let anyone get in my way of doing well.

9.     I will always remember the stuff the teacher thought us and the wise words he had to say.

What this statement is saying is that you should always do the right things no matter how difficult the situation is. When you choose the right there will always be great stuff for you out there. By choosing the right it makes your future better and better everyday. Choosing the right will lead you to getting a good career and future. Once you choose to do the bad things in life that won’t help you get anywhere and you won’t reach your goals. An example is when people offer you drugs you have to choose the right and say no because that won't help you in any way.By choosing the right you will make your parents proud , others around you and you will set a good example.  People will look up to you and want to be a great person with goals to reach. Choosing the right will lead you to being happy with life and yourself. Choosing the right will make you prove people wrong, people who told you that you wouldn't make it. It's always important to choose the right and not do the wrong things.

Of all the choices you will ever make, one choice supersedes all others-the ultimate choice. This one choice will help you to always make correct decisions for the remainder of your life. This one choice, The Ultimate Choice, is your keystone for being the best student and person you can possibly be. This one choice will forever affect you for good more than any other choice.

The Ultimate Choice is:

To be a CTR Person-to Always CHOOSE THE RIGHT 24/7 - Mr. Haymore

This means that you should always be doing the right things no matter how difficult the situation gets. Choose to do what’s best for you and making your own ultimate choices that depend on choosing what’s right. If you want to accomplish those goals you have to do what’s right for yourself. Which means you have to stop smoking , drinking, behaving bad in school and to stop disrespecting others. Once that has happened, they become happy with always choosing the right. So choosing the right is best for everyone. It helps accomplish and get you to places. If you don’t do what’s right people will have 0 respect for you and wouldn’t want to be around you. You will not make it that far if you have a bad reputation and people won’t want to hire you anywhere. Make good decisions in life and you will accomplish anything you want.

Chinese Proverb

This proverb is saying is that if there is character there will be peace. Character is when you have moral qualities such as your mentality and personality. An example of this is when you have a good personality. If you have a good personality, you make wise choices. Making wise choices keeps the world at peace because no one is making bad decisions.  Another example is when you have a bad spirit. When you have a bad spirit, you make bad choices. If you keep on making bad choices, you will cause disruption. Once you make bad choices no one will want to be around you. Make good choices in life and you will have peace.

Challenges Teens Face Today

1. Many teens nowadays are so worried what people have to say about them and have trouble opening up to people because they'll feel judged. Some of these challenges that they go through are the way their body looks , getting pregnant at a young age , relationships with their boyfriend/girlfriend , school and jobs stress out the teens. Other teens get addicted to drugs and alcohol that’s what stresses them out because they have the need of wanting it every minute. Some kids get stressed out by their weight because they feel like people will punk on them or will quickly judge them by they way they look. They try so hard to fit in with those people , to try and be skinny so they starve themselves and will stop eating for days.  

2. The challenges i'm facing today is working hard in school , by the doing the right things. To accomplish all the goals i have and make my family proud.

3. Being a CTR person helps me overcome these challenges because i always keep in mind that i have to do the right things in order to get where i'm heading. I have to choose the right pathway.

4. Helping other teens overcome their challenge will be difficult but you can talk to those people have them speak up for themselves. They can also ask someone for advice.

6. The greatest need that a teen will need is support , care and attention. They will need these because if they don’t have that person that cares for them they will lead to do bad stuff. It will lead them to just doing whatever they want because they don’t have that person to tell them what’s right from wrong.

What this quote means is saying is that they would rather fail than be a cheater and wining. An example for this quote is when someone cheats on a test. This person is choosing to do wrong. They’re lying to themselves and the teacher on this test and they pass with a good score that wasn’t even meant for them but they got it since they were cheating. Those people  are making bad decisions and it will affect them in the future, because they won’t know what to do and they won't have anyone else to cheat off from. It would’ve been fair if you didn’t cheat and did the best that you can do. You might have failed but at least you did it without cheating. A good example would be when someone studies for their finals. That person is deciding to do what’s best for them and their grade. That person has made a wise choice and is going to be a success in life.

Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is a type of disease that develops from the breast cells. It usually starts off in the inner lining of milk ducts or the lobules that supply with the milk. Malignant tumor can spread to other parts of the body, if it has started off in the lobules it is known as lobular carcinoma. The one developed from the ducts is called ductal carcinoma. The majority of breast cancer usually occurs in females. Breast cancer is the most common invasive cancer in females worldwide. According to the National Cancer Institute 232,340 female breast cancers and 2,240 male breast cancers are reported in the USA each year and about 39,620 deaths are caused by this disease. Symptoms of breast cancer include a lump in the breast, bloody discharge from the nipple, and changes in the shape or texture of the nipple or breast. Treatment depends on the stage of cancer. It may consist of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. The campaign also offers information and support to those affected by breast cancer.

Reflection: this topic relates to me because i am a girl and this type of cancer can happen to anyone and i need to take care of myself.
