Duties & Responsibilities:

           ·          Seat patients in the treatment area.

           ·        Pass requested instruments to the dentist during dental procedures.

           ·         Sterilize and prepare instruments.

           ·         Take impressions of teeth for study models.

           ·          Polish clinical crowns.

           ·          Expose and develop X-rays.

 Salary:

Education:

Postsecondary non- degree award

Refection: No I wouldn’t want to be one because it doesn’t catch my attention and doesn’t seem interesting.

                     Dentist

         

  Duties and Responsibilities:  Dentists are responsible for treating dental and mouth tissue problems. They also give advice on how to maintain heathy teeth and gums. Some advice may include brushing, flossing and using mouthwash to keep your teeth healthy and clean. Dentist can remove decaying teeth, fill cavities, replace teeth, and examine X-rays. They can in some cases preform gum surgery as well as treating gum disease.

Salary: $76,000-$229,000 annually

Education: Dentists must have Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctors of Dental Medicine, and must pass the Dental Admission Test

I don’t think I would like to be a dentist because it seems to complicated. It also doesn’t catch my attention.
