Memorial day 

 Memorial Day is originally called Decoration Day, is a time of a remembrance for those people that have died in our nation’s service. It was originally observed on May 30th as a day of reconciliations and coming together to honor those brave members of the military who gave their all. Many American’s observe Memorial Day by visiting cemeteries or memorials, holding family gatherings and participating in parades. Unofficially, a t least, it marks the beginning of summer. Some towns and cities still have Memorial Day parades; many have not had parades in decades. A few of the largest parades take place in Chicago, New York and Washington, Dc. IN 2004, Washington DC , held the first memorial day parade in more than 60 years. Many people believed the day is for honoring any of the dead, not just those who died serving our country. People see it as a day for cookouts, parties, family gatherings or a long weekend for traveling to visit friends or relatives. Many Americans observe this day by visiting cemeteries and memorials. A fact that i didn’t know was that each year since Dec 2000 a national moment of remembrance takes place at 3:00 p.m. local time.

The way I feel about Memorial Day is that it's a remorse day because you are celebrating or honoring those people who died for our country. It could be really emotional to those who lost a loved one while honoring our country. Those who died or came back from war deserve full respect from everyone for serving their country. It takes bravery and strong guts to serve for our country. It’s important to respect them because you don’t know what a simple thank you or a salute does to a service man. Just the acknowledgement that they volunteered to lay down our lives to keep this country free. Put a single rose on their tombstone and say thank you. Without the sacrifices those brave individuals made in the name of freedom, we would not have the ability to sell Ford vehicles, enjoy time with our friends and families, or many of the other things that we take for granted each day.

This means that Telling the truth will always make you trustworthy. For example when it comes to someone cheating on a test and they tell the teacher the truth that they cheated will be believable.  It's better to say the truth rather than keeping it to yourself and lying to the teacher that you did it all on your own. Always do the right things  and tell the truth no matter what it is. It’s best to do than hurting someone with lies, having to go along with each lie and story you make up and everything else. Always remember that it is better to tell someone the truth rather than having them believe the lies you make up.

Yoga Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: : create balance in the mind and body through exercise, breathing and meditation. yoga therapist you would use yoga to help people with emotional issues or specific health problems.

Salary: $36,900

Education: They must possess a 200 hour basic certification in order to teach in a group setting. A professional certification is recommended for a yoga therapist to open their own practice.

Demand for this profession: In 2005, the north american studio alliance estimated over 70,000 practicing yoga instructors in north america.

Reflection: no i wouldn't want to be a therapist for yoga.

This quote means is that if you have the correct goals and keep pushing yourself to reach those goals you’ll be successful. For example, if your goal is to finish your homework before a certain time and you push yourself to reach that goal you’ll do it and get it done. That’s a step closer to being successful. You’re choosing to do the right thing and you are doing it right so everything else you have planned will follow along and it will go right for you. Another example would be of not reaching your goal, not turning in your homework or any assignment.That’s a bad start because you’re giving up and your grade will be going down. There wouldn’t be a chance of someone being able to succeed while not being able to push themselves to reach their goals. It’s always best for someone to reach their goals and being able to be successful while choosing the right. Always do the right things. Choose the right.

Reflection: no i wouldn't want to become a wellness specialist. Have another career in mind.

This quote means that having  good values is something important to have. Having those good values makes you a wise person as well. For example if you cheat on a test  you have bad values. Having values like that won’t help you succeed or help you on anything. Having bad values won’t make you any better from anyone else. Unlike having good values that will get you somewhere and you’re also choosing to do the right things so there is nothing wrong that can be done there. Deciding to choose what’s right and best for you is always the best thing to do. If you choose to do the bad stuff in life it won’t lead you anywhere and people won’t look at you the same. Always do the right things that can help you in the future. Don’t let any other person bring you down.

Veterinarian

Reflection: It seems like a fun job to do to save all the animals but i have already focused on another job.

An internal phenomenon

This quote means that when you do something right you get rewarded by feeling good. By feeling good I mean that you are proud of yourself for doing good deeds for others. You are mostly doing it for yourself because you are the one who gains respect and dignity. People will know you as the good person you are when you do good things. They will also have respect for you because of the things you do for others and yourself. Sometimes it is not about receiving an award, it about doing things to make you feel good. It’s about showing the world your kindness and respect. Don’t always think that just because you did something good you’re going to get a reward for that. Do the right things because then you’ll feel good about yourself. Be kind to others and always help those people in need.

Tallest Man

This record was set on June 27 1940. Robert Pershing Wadlow is known as the tallest man in history.

Wadlow reached 8 ft 11.1 in (2.72 m) in height and weighed 439 lb at his death at age 22. His great size and his continued growth in adulthood were due to hyperplasia of his pituitary gland, which results in an abnormally high level of human growth hormone. He showed no indication of an end to his growth even at the time of his death.

This record fascinates me because he is known for a very tall person. He is basically taller than any other person , it would be hard for him to get into doors or into a car. They would have to make customized stuff for him because he is very tall.

I would like to break a record but then i have nothing in interesting to do in mind for myself to catch attention or to break a record.

These statements mean to always work hard and accomplish the things you want to do. Always follow your passion, if you are interested  in something try it out. Don’t let anyone hold you back from trying new things. Never chase after money, don’t just start doing stuff because of the money. Someday that will come to you & you will have the things you want. If you help others in return good things will happen to you. Always be helpful , kind & respectful. One day all the good thing you did will come back to you.  Do the right thing and you will get the stuff you want. Don’t let others get in your way.

“You knew what i was when you picked me up”

In this video there was an indian climbing to the top of a mountain. He was testing if he had courage because most people can’t do that. He couldn’t eat or nothing. He did everything that was possible to climb to the top. Once he got up there he felt full of joy. He was proud of himself for making it up there. When he got up to the top, he saw a snake. He got frightened by it and thought he was going to die.   The snake told the indian to take him to the bottom of the valley because it was to cold up their. The indian answered back by saying “i know what you are , you can bite me.” The rattlesnake told him he wasn’t going to bite him or do anything to him if he took him to the bottom. The indian trusted him and took him to the bottom, once they got down there the snake bit his leg. The indian told him “ you said you weren’t going to bit me”. The snake told him you knew what i was but you still picked me up. This shows that we can’t trust anyone because no one keeps their words.

This statement means that even if the problem you are in is difficult you should always choose the right thing. Even if you have to make the hardest decision you should always do what’s right. Never let your friends get in the way of making a decision for you. They might pressure you to do the wrong things but always think twice before you act. Be smart about the things you do. For example if your friends are telling you ditch school with them to go smoke pot and drink. You should think about the bad consequences of what it can do to your body. Also think about the consequences you’ll have to deal with when you get caught by your parents. They will be very disappointed. Always do the right things. Just because your friends do it doesn’t mean you have to. Be a leader not a follower …

Reflection: it seems like a good job but it doesn't really catch my attention.

This statement means that you will never get anything from doing the wrong things. For example if you copy someone test you won’t get anything out of it because you don’t learn the new topics or pay attention to it. By doing the right things you can gain a lot from that. You can get perfect scores, good grades and always be confident. Once you do something bad you will feel guilty and have a bad feeling inside of you. If you do the right thing you will feel great about yourself and not have that feeling. Always do what’s right because then people will have respect for you. Once you do something bad many people are so quick to judge you. do what’s right for yourself . Be a CTR person.

Marco Anthony Archer is an underground rapper who was recently discovered in 2012. He would do rap shows from basements , he would always try his hard to make it to the top. His music doesn't talk about dirty money , drugs or disrespecting any girl. He talks about his lifestyle the stuff hes been through and he just wants to help others around him. At age 15 he was stab , there was many people around him but no one helped. He started to think that he was going to die , but soon enough he got up himself walked to school and dialed 911. He lived with him single mother and sister. He has the support of many people around the world , because he just wants to make a difference and help those kids around the world thinking they won't make it.  He made a name for himself he put some words together and liked the sound of it , it doesn't have a meaning to it (phora). Many people hate him for many reason , he was also shot in the back of his neck when going home with his girlfriend. Luckily he did survive the accident , he has a clothing line YOURSTRULY. Phora has been a big inspiration to me because hes not like other rappers. He helps others around him , his music helps alot. Its like if hes there just sitting down talking to you. Whenever I'm sad iknow i can just listen to his music and just stay calm. I hope one day to meet my big idiol! that would bring so much joy to me and it would be a great day. I know that one day he's going to achieve all the goals he made for himself and make his family proud. Most of his fans call themselves phoraheads and myself included.He usually does meet & greets for the fans to have a chance to meet him and he also does some shows for us fans to hear him sing and have that expierence with him. He just brings so much joy to many people.  My dream is to meet phora someday because that's my idol and it would bring me lots of joy.

This quote means that it’s a wonderful thing for someone to step up and do the right thing when no one else takes responsibility. You will feel good when you do well. You also have to have courage in order to do stuff. Especially when you’re trying to step for something. Having the courage to speak for others or for you is a big deal. That is being an assertive person. Stand up for yourself and have pride. Don’t be a follower. You do you. Always do the right thing and choose the right.

This quote is basically like a promise. If you say something you have to keep it and not break it. Like he said he wouldn't get out of the circle it’s like him making a promise. There’s certain things you can do when you don’t keep a promise to a person. Once you break a promise that person will no longer trust you. Always be trustworthy to the words you say. If you get locked away in prison there's a chance you can escape, but once you make a promise saying you’ll start to do better you have to stay in their and do what’s best for yourself. Always do what’s best for yourself, don’t think of others and do what you gotta do. It’s important to keep your words because once you break a promise there is no trust whatsoever. Don’t let other people think bad about you , always keep those promises. Choose the right.
