Duties and Responsibilities: ·   

·         Providing medical care for common household pets, like cats, dogs, rabbits and birds

·         They can also treat large farm animals, including horses and cattle

·         Examine, diagnose and treat animals

·         Prescribe and administer animal medications

·         Take cell and tissue samples and perform diagnostic tests

·         Perform surgery on animals

Salary: $86,640

Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Some schools you can go to are Southern New Hampshire University ,Grand Canyon University ,Walden University and Independence University.

Demand for this profession: According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, jobs for veterinarians were projected to grow by 12% between 2012 and 2024.

Reflection: It seems like a fun job to do to save all the animals but i have already focused on another job.
